Amanda is a learning and development (L&D) leader who leverages the design thinking methodology to foster cultures of innovation across organizations. As the first vice president of L&D at Cognosante, Amanda stood up the company’s L&D capability and oversee the company’s learning function as a design-led capability (i.e., using human-centered design approaches to develop innovative learning products). Additionally, she created the company’s first Design Thinking capability where they use principles from human-centered design and service design to solve the toughest problems facing healthcare. She is working to scale these methodologies across the company.
