Head of Design and Innovation for Gatorade, Xavi is in charge of creating the vision and development of Gatorade and Propel Innovation and their expansion into technology platforms. Xavi leads also the Brand Design team leading the brand look across different consumer touch points including retail theater, packaging, build-outs, etc

Xavi was born in Barcelona where he earned a degree in Architecture. He has a strong sports performance and design background stemming from his 11 years of experience with Nike in Spain, Mexico and Brazil

Xavi is a Design Professional with 20 years of experience. Possesses a diverse range of skills in brand design, product innovation, environmental design, experience design, and retail business (strategy, P&L, in store activation, training, merchandising, etc.). His work transcends cultural and language barriers to bring consumers clear innovation/experiences/messages that aligns with the brand. Strong International experience, Design thinking and communication and leadership capabilities
